Before the First World War, De Dion of France was the largest car manufacturer on Earth, producing hundreds of models including the compact DE-2 city car. DE-2s were slow and light, but fuel-efficient and very economical to run.
This DE-2, sold in England in 1912, is original except for its tractor-style wheels.
